Milan Plavšić from Sremska Mitrovica, with the support of the IPARD Programme, obtained a new tractor, the kind he had dreamed of since he was a boy. As he says, everything is faster, better, more comfortable with the new tractor, and the demanding work on the farm is not difficult, no matter how long it lasts.
Since his early days, Milan has been involved in agriculture on the family farm, which has a long tradition of growing cereals. Having graduated from the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, he decided to stay in the countryside and continue to develop the family farm in Kuzmin. Milan and his wife, a graduate plant protection engineer, are the real promoters of the IPARD Programme. This educated young married couple encourages agricultural producers in their area to apply for the IPARD Programme by giving advice on how to become an eligible beneficiary for IPARD support.
